Do you travel to my venue?
Yes - we travel to you on your wedding day, whenever that may be. Saugerties and Kingston are travel-fee-free. Beyond that, travel is $1.50/mile from Saugerties, and if your venue is more that two hours away, a hotel stay is added to cover the trip.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 12+ months ahead. Peak wedding season fills up quickly, and we only take on so many dates each week - so once you know your date, we’d love to hear from you early!
Can I do my trial somewhere other than Saugerties?
Our trials take place at our partner salon, Lux Hair Studio in Saugerties - a great excuse to explore the Hudson Valley before your big day!
Do you have a minimum?
Yes we do have a minimum, based on time of year and availability. Please inquire : )
Do you work with all hair textures and skin tones?
Absolutely. Every bride deserves to feel beautifully and authentically herself , and our artists are experienced across all hair textures and skin tones. Come as you are - we’ll create a look that’s made for you.
How does trial day go?
Come with an idea in mind - a photo, a feeling, a direction you’re drawn to. The trial is our chance to get to know each other: your hair, your skin, and the story of your day. We’ll work from there together to bring your vision to life.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit card, Apple Pay, ACH bank transfer, cash and check. Credit cards and Apple Pay carry a 3.5% transaction fee; ACH bank transfer carries a 1% fee (minimum $250) Cash and Check have no additional fee.
Is gratuity included or seperate?
Gratuity, along with any additional travel, holiday, or early-bird fee, is separate from your package price, though all are itemized on your invoice. We ask that gratuity and any added fees be paid by Venmo or cash on the day of, directly to your artist, However, if you prefer, they can be put into your deposit schedule. Please let us know at the time of booking.
